Bremen Castings Welcomes South African Foundry Delegation June 21, 2011 |
South African Foundry Delegation Visits Bremen Castings, Inc.
Bremen Castings was honored to host the South African Foundry Delegation on Tuesday, June 2st. The delegation consisted of members within the Government, Science Councils, Academia, industry Associations, and private sector who are interested in technology transfer and partnership opportunities. Board areas of interest included Lean and Clean Manufacturing; Reduction in Casting Scrap; R&D for Improving Productivity; Energy Reduction; and Skills Development Improvement.
After a brief meet and greet, the delegation was led in small groups touring Bremen Castings foundry and machine shops followed by a question and answer period.
The South African Consulate in Chicago accompanied the delegation.
