    Bremen Castings Receives MACOG 2011 Partners for Clean Air Award


    On May 1, 2012, Bremen Castings was one of three recipients for the Michiana Area Council of Government's (MACOG) "2011 Partners for CleanAir Award".  BCI received this award based on energy savings reported in it's Recycling Promotion and Assistance Fund Recycling Market Development Grant.  The electric melt capacity expansion would net a potential of 246,000 million BTU savings and 12,000 tons of additional scrap steel recycled.
